Lamport Gilbert have a specialist team that focuses on the Fine Art Market. We understand how the market works and the importance of catalogues and brochures. Our experienced design and production team can help you at every stage of the process.

DESIGN AND PROOFING

We offer a full design/layout service but equally are very happy to work with your own designer - in either case, the treatment of the images and the proofing process are key. Our qualified staff can carry out colour correcting to bring out the very best from the images.

PRODUCTION

Once proofs are approved our production team will supervise the printing to match proofs extremely closely. We understand the vital importance of meeting mail-out or exhibition dates and will agree a schedule with you at the outset to ensure these can be achieved.

BINDING AND FINISHING

For catalogues and books, these processes are as important as the printing itself so we will monitor and control these elements very closely.

QUALITY SYSTEMS

Lamport Gilbert produce high quality print and to achieve that we operate quality procedures and checking systems to ensure production quality meets expectations.

ARTBOOKS AND RETROSPECTIVE WORKS

In addition to regular catalogues and brochures, Lamport Gilbert print commemorative and special books dedicated to the life and works of a particular artist. These books can be produced using the very highest quality papers and bound to incorporate speciality finishes such as hard back cloth bindings, foiling, embossing, and jacketing to give a distinctive high quality feel.

LEAFLETS, CONCERTINA FOLDERS AND CARDS

Lamport Gilbert produce large numbers of leaflets, invitation cards and concertina fold out brochures to galleries and museums all over the country on both paper and card. These can often be quite inexpensive but extremely effective ways to advertise your next exhibition or forthcoming events in the form of a “what’s on” brochure. Invitation cards are often mailed out in advance of a show and can be single leaf, 4, 6 or 8 pages. For help with ideas and samples of these items, please contact us and ask for our Fine Art Specialist.
